Hello everyone!!
Today, I'd like to share what I hope to convey through our services. I appreciate you taking the time to read along!
One of the most crucial things we can do to protect our health is to consider how to prevent illnesses before they occur. In particular, preventive medicine plays a key role in determining how to stop diseases before they manifest.
Once a disease develops, treatment often requires a significant amount of time and money, and in some cases, complete recovery can be challenging. Despite this, many people overlook the risks until they are already ill, neglecting preventive measures.
One reason for this is the common belief that "it won't happen to me." If people were certain they would develop a disease, they would undoubtedly take preventive actions. However, it’s impossible to predict who will get sick, when it will happen, or what kind of illness it might be.
One of the challenges of preventive medicine is that it must address these uncertainties. Additionally, regular monitoring—what we might call “fixed-point observation”—is essential for detecting changes over time. These two factors present significant challenges, making it difficult to justify the costs and demonstrate the benefits of preventive healthcare.
Nevertheless, there has been a growing awareness of health in recent years, with more people taking a proactive approach to prevention. People are now exercising, paying attention to their diet, and even seeking mental wellness to avoid illness. However, the reality is that the risk of disease remains uncertain.
The most important thing, in my opinion, is to make your health status visible and to be aware of any changes. This allows for a more logical approach to preventive medicine, where specific actions can be taken based on current health data, rather than investing in an uncertain future.
The service I want to offer focuses on fixed-point observation of the scalp and skin to promote the early detection of skin cancer. Early detection of melanoma, especially on the back, is extremely challenging. Since symptoms are often not apparent, the disease can progress unnoticed, becoming more severe over time. This underscores the importance of prevention even more.
Moreover, I aim to create opportunities for regular mole checks, spreading knowledge about why these checks are crucial, and providing information on the causes and preventive measures for other skin pathologies. Ultimately, I believe that prevention is synonymous with "correct understanding."
Preventive medicine is not just about preparing for unseen risks; it's about understanding your own health and taking specific actions. This is the preventive approach I want to offer you. As a hair salon, I am confident that we are in a unique position to approach this from a close and accessible perspective.
I sincerely hope to support your health from this standpoint.
I feel like we might be able to open in October... or rather, I want to make it happen!!
Stay tuned for more updates!
